The MHD093B-058-NP0-LA model comes with a B05 flange mounting that allows it to be installed in any permissible mounting position. The synchronous motor can perform continuous start-stop operations owing to its high repeating frequencies. The MHD093 synchronous motor is designed as per American standards and can be used under unfavorable climatic conditions due to its high protection category. The motor is completely protected against dust particles and low-pressure liquids due to its IP65 protection category. A power connector with left side power delivery is placed at the top of the motor which takes input power from the AC 200 – 330 V power source. The motor should only be used with the accessories and modules prescribed for the digital intelligent drive system. The motor housing is equipped with a temperature monitoring sensor that provides resistance against overtemperature. With the 60-K increase in housing temperature, the motor with natural convection cooling option delivers the continuous torque of 17.5 Nm while operating at the continuous current of 22.5 A whereas, with a 100-K increase in winding temperature the motor consumes 26 A of current to deliver the rated torque of 20 Nm, at standstill position.

The model MHD093B-058-NP0-LA operating at surface cooling mode, produces the rated torque of 26.3 Nm while drawing the rated current of 33.8 A, with a 60/100-K increase in motor temperature. The maximum current consumed by the motor is 101.2 A and the maximum operating speed of the motor is 6000 rpm. For continuous power delivery, a shaft with a keyway is used in this model and a standard bearing with 30,000 operating hours lifetime is installed in this model. The motor uses digital servo feedback for controlling the speed and position of the motor’s output shaft.
