The MHD093B-058-NG1-AN model is a permanent magnet excited motor designed by Rexroth Indramat. The model is extensively used in various automation sectors such as machine tools, mounting systems, and textile machines. The MHD093 synchronous motor comes with natural convection and liquid cooling modes. The motor takes AC power directly from the digital intelligent drive controller and generates the rated torque of 17.5 – 33.3 Nm while operating at the rated current of 22.5 – 42.8 A. The synchronous motor operates at the rated voltage of 200 – 347 VAC with the rated frequency of 167 – 267 Hz. The MHD093 synchronous motor operating at natural convection mode delivers the rated power of 1.7 – 4.1 kW, and the model operating at the liquid cooling mode generates 12.7 kW of continuous power while operating at the continuous speed of 2500 – 4000 rpm. For efficient cooling, the cooling ribs of the synchronous motor should be cleaned after a regular interval of time and a coolant is used for cooling purposes during liquid cooling mode. The MHD motor housing is protected under the IP65 protection category.

The model MHD093B-058-NG1-AN is capable to operate at the maximum operating speed of 6000 rpm while delivering the maximum torque of 66 Nm. The thermal time constant of the MHD093 motor is 60 min for the natural convection model and 20 min for the liquid cooling model. For relative position detection, digital servo feedback is installed in this model along with a plain output shaft.
