The Bosch Rexroth MHD093B-035-PG1-RA is a MHD series synchronous motor. In combination with Bosch drive controllers, the motor can be used for a wide range of applications that involve machine tools, handling, automation, food processing and packing machines. Features that are provided on the MHD093B-035-PG1-RA include digital servo feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder, plain shaft with sealing ring and a 22 Nm holding brake. The motor cools via convection cooling. This means that active devices such as fans and blowers are not required to force air across the surface of the motor. Therefore the cost of system installation and operation is reduced. However proper ventilation should be ensured so that the ambient temperature remains within the recommended range of operating temperatures. The permissible range of temperature is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
