Product Description:

The MDD117C-N-030-N2L-130GB0 is Bosch MDD servo motor. In combination with compatible digital drive controllers from Bosch, MDD motors create cost-effective and high-performance automation systems. The motors are especially well suited to applications such as tools, textiles, printing machines, packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment and transfer facilities. MDD motors provide high contouring accuracies at high feedrates, in particular when used for cutting applications at high speeds. MDD servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors that support electronic commutation. Rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials are used to make the permanent magnets of the rotor. The use of these materials makes it possible to manufacture a motor with low inertia. The MDD117C-N-030-N2L-130GB0 has a nominal speed rating of 3000 RPM. The standard housing is suited to natural convection and surface cooling.

The motor supports digital servo feedback. Its centering diameter is 130 millimeters. The output shaft on the motor is plain. The power connection is on side B of the motor. A blocking brake is not available on the motor. MDD motors are IP65 rated: this means that the motors are totally dustproof and safe from low-pressure water jets. Hence, they can be used in adverse operating conditions. The working temperature range for MDD motors is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The working elevation range is 0 to 1000 meters. MDD motors must be stored in a dry, dust-free and shock-free environment. The permissible storage temperature range is -25 to +85 degrees Celsius. There are protective covers on the connector housing as well as the output shaft. These are made of plastic and protect the parts they cover against moisture and damage. Do not remove the protective covers until shortly prior to mounting into the machine.
