The MDD117B-N-040-N2L-180PA1 is an MDD Series Digital AC servo motor with a speed rating of 3000 rpm. To use this servo motor, the manufacturer recommends mounting it on a flange of perfect and compatible size, and should always be mounted at an altitude maximum of 1000 meters above sea level to allow this servo motor to work in rated conditions. In derated mode, this servo motor has a speed rating of 500 rpm. The rated torque for this AC servo motor is 38 Nm in the standstill or locked rotor mode.
The N2L configuration in this servo model allows this AC servo motor to feature a standard motor housing with natural convection cooling that uses the ambient air from the surroundings to keep the metal body of the servo cool, allowing the internals of the servo to cool down at a quicker pace. The copper coil on this servo motor has low levels of resistance, which allows this servo motor to dissipate less heat. Since this AC motor does not come with an axial blower fan, the MDD117B-N-040-N2L-180PA1 has a low level of noise, which is around 75 dB.
With a centering diameter of 180 mm, this motor can keep the motor shaft perfectly aligned with the motor's radial design, allowing the servo motor to easily balance the load connected to the shaft of the motor by spreading it evenly on the shaft of the servo motor.
