Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors are high-performance synchronous motors designed with precise speed control in a compact build. They offer varying frame sizes, torques, and speeds with impressive encoder systems. These units are used in machine tools, robotics, and textile machines.
The MDD115D-F-015-N2M-130GB0 is an MDD synchronous servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is enclosed in a sealed housing that ensures its protection so that it can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions. Its power and feedback cables are also made to suit the IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to DIN 40 050. To improve its operational reliability, it has a brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. These allow the servo motor to be operated maintenance-free. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are made of unique materials that provide low inertia. As a result, the motor has a favorable torque-inertia ratio for high dynamics.
A built-in thermal sensor in the windings of the MDD115D-F-015-N2M-130GB0 protects it from overheating. Heat dissipation from the stator windings is also efficient to give the motor high overload capabilities. The plain output shaft in this MDD model allows its flexible mounting and provides a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash.
