The MDD115D-F-015-N2M-130GA1 is a compact MDD servo motor with a high power density. This makes it ideal for dynamic applications like roller feeds for punching, pressing, and nibbling machines. It reaches a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and has a centering diameter of 130mm. Equipped with a plain output shaft, a non-positive shaft-hub connection with zero backlash is assured with this motor. This shaft comes with a sealing ring that prevents fluids from penetrating the motor. The MDD model is covered with a black prime varnish with high-level resistance to chalky buildup, weathering, and yellowing. It is also suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates due to its high cyclic load capacity resulting from electronic commutation.

As a product of Balance Class N according to DIN VDE 0530, the MDD115D-F-015-N2M-130GA1 works well for normal applications. It can be operated maintenance-free since it has lifetime-lubricated bearings and a brushless design. Like other MDD motor models, it has an integrated temperature monitoring system consisting of a thermal sensor in its stator to prevent irreversible damage due to thermal overload. Heat is efficiently eliminated from its stator windings to the walls of its housing, giving it high overload capacities. Its feedback type is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder, which eliminates the need for a separate absolute encoder. The encoder records its absolute indirect position and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes.
