The MDD Digital AC servo motors represent the latest technological innovations by INDRAMAT. These devices feature varying continuous torque and speeds, ensuring a high degree of versatility. When used with the INDRAMAT drive controllers, they create excellent automatization systems. The MDD motors are also used in robotics, textile machines, printing and packaging machines, equipment and transfer facilities, and machine tools. They are constructed with permanent magnets made from rare-earth or iron oxide magnetic materials; hence, they are characterized by low inertia.
The MDD115B-N-020-N2L-130GA2 is a model of the MDD series. It is suited to high-precision applications with a high degree of synchronism. Also, it has a mass of 41kg and a nominal motor speed of 2000min⁻¹. It is cooled off via natural convection or surface cooling and is designed for high radial loads.
