The MDD115A-N-020-N2L-130GB0 is an AC servo motor that has been designed for controlling the speed and position of different types of industrial equipment. This model is particularly useful for use with nibbling machines, punching machines, and roller feeds for presses. The motor can be used with absolute as well as relative encoders. An optical system is provided with this model for the accurate measurement of speed and position. The servo motor is also provided with an inbuilt temperature sensor. The sensor can constantly monitor the temperature values and protect the system against overtemperature failure. For the relative measurement of the performance parameters, this model is also provided with a digital servo feedback system. The servo motor can be used for a long period of time and has a prolonged service life due to the use of grease lubricated bearings.

The MDD115A-N-020-N2L-130GB0's wear and tear are also reduced because of a brushless design. An electronic commutation based design is used instead that ensures that the peak torque remains available for much of the motor’s speed range.
