Bosch Rexroth consistently provides solutions to needs arising in the global motion and drive industry. The MDD digital AC servo motors are one of these solutions. There are nine motors in the MDD servo motor series with different torques and speeds for various applications. These motors are combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. They are well suited for industries like printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.

The MDD112D-N-030-R2L-130GA0 is equipped with an integrated encoder system, the digital servo feedback that allows a relative indirect position detection on the motor. This encoder uses the optical measurement method, giving the motor high precision. It has an Ingress protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529, which means that it is protected against damage from shock, penetration by solid extrinsic objects, and water. This motor also has a high cyclic load capacity that permits continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates due to electronic commutation. Its nominal speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute.

Because of its compact design, the MDD112D-N-030-R2L-130GA0 has a high power-to-weight ratio. It is particularly suitable for high-precision applications where extreme synchronism is required, like in grinding machines.
