The Bosch Rexroth MDD112D-N-030-N2M-130PA2 is an AC servo motor. It is a synchronous motor and its speed is synchronized to the input current frequency. Electrical power for the motor is supplied by a drive controller. The controller also controls motor speed and other parameters. Two cables connect the motor and the controller: a power cable and a feedback cable. The power cable connects to flanged socket on side A of the housing. The feedback cable connects to its designated flanged socket. Operators must separately order connectors for both cables. The MDD112D-N-030-N2M-130PA2 is equipped with an integrated multiturn encoder and supports digital servo feedback. Operators can order MDD motor with a plain shaft or with a shaft that has a keyway. The shaft on the MDD112D-N-030-N2M-130PA2 motor includes the keyway.
The MDD112D-N-030-N2M-130PA2 is also equipped with an optional blocking brake.
