The MDD112D-N-030-N2M-130GA3 is a MDD series servo motor. Bosch has developed the MDD series for industrial use. Typical applications of MDD motors include textiles, robotics and transfer facilities. MDD112 series motors are especially well suited to applications that require an extreme degree of synchronism. For MDD112 motors Bosch provides blocking brakes with 14 Nm, 40 Nm and 60 Nm holding torque ratings. The MDD112D-N-030-N2M-130GA3 includes a 60 Nm integrated blocking brake. Additional brake specifications include 24 Volts DC nominal voltage, 1.35 Amps nominal current, 150 milliseconds release delay, 30 milliseconds clamping delay and 3.5 kilograms weight. The brake operates according to the electrical release principle. The brake holds the motor shaft and only releases it after application of the 24 Volts DC signal.
