The intelligent drive controllers from INDRAMAT are components of rapid-response automation systems used in applications such as machine tools, robotics, handling equipment, transfer facilities, and paper processing and printing machines. The automation systems are obtained when the drive controllers are combined with the digital AC servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. One of these families of servo motors is the MDD series of synchronous motors, a broad class of low-inertia high-density motors.
