The Indramat drive controllers can be used to create rapid-response automation systems when merged with the digital AC servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. They also form drives that are used in applications such as machine tools, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities. The MDD series of servo motors are examples of these motors. They are maintenance-free motors with a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings.
The MDD112D-L-015-N2L-130GR0 is one of Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors. It is a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a frame size of 112 and frame length D. It is built with electronic commutation, a feature that gives it a high cyclic load capacity for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The installation of this motor is simplified thanks to the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to its shaft since its design allows the application of high radial loads. It can also be installed in any position as desired by the user and uses ready-made cables that significantly reduce the work of installation.
