The MDD112C-N-030-R2M-130GA0 is a Bosch MDD servo motor. The MDD product line includes nine motor series with different continuous torques and speeds that support a wide range of applications. Drives with MDD servo motors are well-suited for use in tools, textiles, packaging machines, robotics, and handling equipment. MDD motors provide high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, in particular when used for applications that involve cutting at high speed. MDD motors are low inertia motors that are equipped with permanent magnets. A brushless motor design and use of life-time lubricated bearings enable maintenance-free operation for MDD motors. A temperature sensor on the windings provides overtemperature protection and prevents overload damage. MDD112 series motors support convection cooling and surface cooling. Bosch provides axial and radial blowers for surface cooling.
Bosch provides the output shaft in two different designs: as a plain shaft for non positive shaft-hub connections and as a shaft with keyway for form-fitting shaft-hub connections. The MDD112C-N-030-R2M-130GA0 is equipped with a plain shaft. The shaft includes a seal that helps to ensure that no liquids can penetrate into the motor housing along the shaft. An output shaft with a seal is required for applications where there is a risk of dirt or moisture ingress. Both the power and the motor feedback cables connect directly to the motor by means of connectors on the corresponding flanged sockets. Connectors for both cables depend on the motor and must be ordered separately. Seals on the shaft and cable connectors lead to IP65 protection category for MDD motors.
