The Bosch Rexroth MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is a digital AC servo motor. It is called a servo motor because it supports digital servo feedback. A sensor on the motor, known as an encoder, measures different parameters such as motor speed and torque. This information is continuously sent to the drive controller. The controller continuously compares feedback from the motor with programmed parameter values. Depending on the difference between stored and current parameter values, the controller adjusts its output to bring current values in line with programmed values.
