Product Description:

The Bosch Rexroth MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130GB3 is a MDD series synchronous motor. Together with digital drive controllers, the MDD motors create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. Drive systems with MDD motors are well-suited to applications such as tools, textiles, transfer facilities, robotics and handling equipment. MDD motors assure high contouring accuracies at high feedrates. MDD series includes nine motors with different torque and speed combinations. MDD112 motors are designed for applications requiring a high degree of synchronism. MDD motors are made with permanent magnets and support electronic commutation. They provide high reliability as a result of a brushless design and bearings that are lubricated for the complete service life of the motor. MDD motors can be used within the working area of the machine under poor environmental conditions.  The motors include a temperature sensor that helps prevent overload damage.

MDD motors are equipped with and encoder and support either relative or absolute position feedback. The MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130GB3 supports digital servo feedback. Its housing is designed for natural convection or surface cooling. The nominal motor speed is 3000 RPM. The motor balance class is standard (R as per DIN VDE 0530). The motor has a plain shaft without a B-end. The centering diameter of the MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130GB3 is 130 millimeters. The power cable from the drive controller connects to a power socket on side B of the motor housing. The motor includes a 60 Nm rated blocking brake. The purpose of the brake is to prevent shaft rotation unless a release signal is applied. The blocking brake on the MDD112C-N-030-N2L-130GB3 releases at 24 Volts DC. It draws 1.35 Amps during operating. The release delay of the motor is 150 milliseconds and the clamping delay is 30 milliseconds.
