The MDD112C-N-020-N2M-130GA2 motor offers exceptional operating reliability and functions even in poor environmental conditions. This is due to the fact that the servo motor is completely sealed within its housing. Its standard coated housing is designed to be weatherproof and facilitates surface cooling as well as natural convection. The MDD112C-N-020-N2M-130GA2 motor is protected from overload damage by the built-in temperature sensor. This family of motors is best for applications requiring an extreme degree of synchronism. The plain shaft allows for the backlash-free, non-positive transmission of the machine’s torque of 28 Nm. 

The MDD112C-N-020-N2M-130GA2 motor by Rexroth Indramat has a nominal speed of 2000 revolutions per minute. The 40 Nm blocking brake engages when the motor is at zero current to lock and hold off the axis. For safety purposes, the manufacturer can mount a second brake if desired. It has a digital servo motor feedback equipped with a multi-turn encoder. The MDD112C-N-020-N2M-130GA2   motor is in the balance class for normal applications.
