Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth is known for its consistency in creating drive and motion control products with exceptional quality. Drives with its MDD motors are used in machine tools, textile machines, and robotics.
The MDD112A-N-030-N2L-130GA1 is a model of the compact MDD motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It uses digital servo feedback, an innovative mechanism for determining its precise and accurate relative indirect position. This encoder’s measuring principle is optical, and its system accuracy is ±0.5 angular minutes. With this feedback type, a separate incremental encoder is not required. It also stores motor parameters in its data memory to accelerate the motor’s startup and aid its adjustment to the drive controller. The methods used for heat dissipation of the MDD servo motor are natural convection and surface cooling, making it suitable for extreme loads. Since heat is efficiently removed from its stator windings via conduction, it displays high overload capabilities.
To protect the MDD112A-N-030-N2L-130GA1 from weathering, chalky buildup, yellowing, and lyes, its housing is painted with a black prime varnish. This housing is built to meet the requirements of the IP 65 protection rating per DIN 40 050, indicating that it is impervious to water jets from different directions. It is also touch-proof and dustproof. The nominal speed of this MDD motor is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and its theoretical maximum torque is 31.3A. Its rotor has permanent magnets that ensure low inertia since they are composed of unique iron oxide materials. The moment of inertia of this rotor is 61 x 10-4 kgm2. Dynamically balanced in terms of Balance Class N per DIN VDE 0530, the motor is suited for normal applications.
