Product Description:

The MDD093D-N-030-N2M-130GA1 is a synchronous servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for digital drive controllers, it converts controlled electrical power into mechanical rotation for positioning and speed-control tasks in automated production equipment. When paired with a matching drive, the motor supports closed-loop operation for assembly stations, packaging lines, and other precision axes. Its synchronous design helps the drive maintain stable response during starting, stopping, and repeated positioning moves.

At standstill, the motor can apply a continuous torque of 24.0 Nm, allowing it to hold or accelerate medium-inertia loads without overheating. During operation, it reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm. The flange has a centering diameter of 130 mm for accurate alignment on the machine frame, and the housing uses the standard style for motor size 093 with length code D. Rotor position is monitored by an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder, and its signals are transmitted as Digital servo feedback (DSF) so the drive can calculate velocity and commutation angles in real time. Power and feedback conductors exit on the A-side, which can simplify cable routing when the connector faces the front of the machine.

The mechanical interface uses a plain shaft with no second extension on side B, and a shaft seal helps prevent lubricant from entering the stator air gap. Electrical terminations are made through a keyed connector that mates with the Rexroth motor cable set. A blocking brake is included, and it clamps the rotor with 11 Nm of static torque when power is removed. The rotor uses standard balancing, which helps keep residual vibration low during normal operation and supports smooth running with typical drive couplings.
