The Bosch Rexroth MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PA1 is a 3000 RPM rated servo motor. It is supplied with an optional blocking brake. The brake is rated for 11 Nm holding torque. The brake acts as a safety mechanism that prevents shaft rotation at standstill. It works according to the electrically-actuated release principle and releases the shaft only after a 24 Volts DC signal is applied. The current draw of the brake is 0.5 Amps. The release delay and clamping delay of the brake are 60 milliseconds and 20 milliseconds respectively. Brakes rated for 22 Nm are also available for MDD093 motors. Power socket on the MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PA1 motor is located on side A of the housing. The main shaft includes a keyway. Plain shafts are also available for MDD motors. The MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PA1 is a flange mounted device.
