The Bosch Rexroth MDD093C-F-060-N2L-110GB0/S015 is a MDD series synchronous servo motor. It is made with permanent magnets. The use of special materials for magnet construction enables manufacture of low-inertia MDD motors. The motor supports electronic commutation. Nominal speed rating of the MDD093C-F-060-N2L-110GB0/S015 motor is 6000 RPM. The motor is equipped with an encoder and supports digital servo feedback. Because of this feature, the motor is deployed with a servo drive controller that works to keep motor parameters – such as speed and position – as close to desired parameter values that are programmed by an operator. Drive controller programming must be done prior to system commissioning. The controller is connected to the motor via two cables: a power cable and a feedback cable. The controller provides motor power through the power cable, and receives motor feedback through the feedback cable.
MDD motors are equipped with either a plain shaft or a shat with a keyway. The MDD093C-F-060-N2L-110GB0/S015 features a plain shaft. Bosch provides four options for power connection location. The power connection on the MDD093C-F-060-N2L-110GB0/S015 motor is on side B of the housing. Users can order optional blocking brakes for MDD motor.
