Product Description:

To create a cost-effective rapid-response automation system for numerous applications, Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors can be combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. Dives with these servo motors are used in food processing and packaging machines, textile machines, and machine tools.

The MDD093B-N-030-N2L-130GB1 is a model of the synchronous servo motors in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It features electronic commutation, resulting in a high cyclic load capacity that is ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It also displays high operational reliability thanks to its sealed housing that permits its operation in poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage. The Ingress Protection rating of this housing is IP 65, in line with DIN 40050, indicating that it is dustproof, touch-proof, and impervious to water jet sprays. With a thermal sensor in its stator windings, the motor’s temperature is monitored to prevent damage due to thermal overload. It is also cooled by natural convection and surface cooling.

Because of its high power density, the MDD093B-N-030-N2L-130GB1 is suitable for highly dynamic applications like roller feeds for punching, pressing, and nibbling machines and tool-changing devices. Its motor feedback is digital servo feedback, and it evaluates its relative indirect position using the optical measuring principle. This encoder also has a data memory where the motor type name and other relevant parameters are stored to ensure its rapid startup and adaptation to the drive controller. Its housing coat is a black prime varnish with resistance to yellowing, chalky buildup, and weathering. The motor design allows the application of high radial loads; hence, pinions and belt pulleys can be directly attached to the shaft.
