Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth is a global leader in providing advanced drive and motion control units for various industries. It is the brain behind the MDD motors used to build rapid-response automation systems, combined with the intelligent digital drive controllers by Indramat.
The MDD093B-F-020-N2L-110PR1 is a model of the MDD servo motors featuring an output shaft with keyway per DIN 6885-1. It also has a shaft sealing ring that prevents fluid penetration through the shaft. Its shaft with keyway ensures even load distribution and reduces the risk of slippage. The nominal speed of the motor is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and its centering diameter is 110mm. One benefit of its brushless design is high efficiency and energy conservation since there is no friction or voltage drop. It also has lifetime-lubricated bearings with a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. In addition, its design allows the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft.
Enclosed in a sealed housing, the MDD093B-F-020-N2L-110PR1 is protected from the penetration of solid extrinsic materials and water sprayed at it from different directions. Hence, it has an IP 65 protection rating per DIN 40 050. It also uses power and feedback cables that meet the requirements of this Ingress Protection category. Digital servo feedback in the MDD servo motor evaluates its relative indirect position with the optical measurement principle. This guarantees high precision in controlling the motor’s speed and position. Its data memory supports the motor’s rapid bootup since it stores parameters like the type name, setting them upon startup. Ideally, this servo motor should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level.
