The MDD093A-N-060-N2M-110GA0/S017 is a model of the compact synchronous servo motors of the MDD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a centering diameter of 110mm and a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. Because of the thermal sensor in its stator windings, damage due to thermal overload is easily averted. Heat is also efficiently eliminated from this stator, giving the motor high overload capability. It is cooled by natural convection and surface cooling; hence, it is also suitable for extreme loads. Electronic commutation in the servo motor grants it a high cyclic load capacity so it supports continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It also has a high power-to-weight ratio.
With its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings, the MDD093A-N-060-N2M-110GA0/S017 can be operated maintenance-free. It is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder for evaluating its absolute indirect position.
