The MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GA1 is a new-generation electrical motor produced by Rexroth Indramat. This industrial motor is designed unlike conventional industrial machines; it features a highly durable housing unit with high metal content and can effectively protect the motor's internal components from both solid and liquid foreign substances. The operation of this industrial motor is designed to be easy and safe; however, this safety is only guaranteed when the instructions stated in the documentation of the industrial motor are strictly followed. Also, under ideal operating conditions, this electrical motor does not generate any dangerous chemical substance and can undergo continuous start-stop operations at a high repeat frequency.
The MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GA1 electrical motor contains an internal encoder designed to convert the operation of the motor into digital signals that the drive controller can use to control the operation of the motor according to predetermined configurational parameters. The MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GA1 electrical motor features a plain output shaft designed to connect the motor to industrial machines without the risk of sudden disconnection; this plain shaft is also designed to support a high radial load and is perfect for pinons and belt pullies.
The MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GA1 electrical motor features a special electrical connector through which the power and motor feedback cable enters the motor's housing; this electrical connector is also designed according to the IP65 protection class. The MDD090C-N-040-N2M-110GA1 electrical motor also features an electrically releasing holding break that helps keep the load connected to the motor's output shaft in place when the motor is not in operation. This holding brake generates a holding torque of about 6.5-newton meters and requires a nominal input voltage of 24 volts for operation.
