The Bosch Rexroth MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110GB0 is a digital servo motor. It supports integrated digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. The encoder is a digital sensor that measures motor parameters including speed and position. Multiturn encoders provide feedback within multiple turns of the motor shaft. Feedback from the motor enables a digital controller to make suitable adjustments to its output so that motor parameters match desired values that are programmed by an operator. The controller programming must be done prior to system commissioning. The MDD090C-N-030-N2M-110GB0 motor has a plain shaft with 24 millimeter diameter. The length of the motor housing is 405 millimeters. The size of the motor flange is 140 millimeters and the diameter of each mounting hole on the flange is 11 millimeters.
