Product Description:

The MDD090C-N-020-N2M-110GA1 is a Bosch Rexroth motor with 2000 RPM rated speed. The motor housing is designed for cooling through either of two methods which are natural convection or surface cooling. When natural convection is used for motor cooling the performance specifications are: 10.4 Nm continuous torque, 12.1 Amps continuous current and 60 minutes thermal time constant. Surface cooling is used to accommodate extreme loads. When surface cooling is used the performance specifications are: 16.0 Nm continuous torque, 18.6 Amps continuous current and 45 minutes thermal time constant. The peak motor torque is 58.6 Nm. The peak motor current is 72.9 Amps. At 20 degrees Celsius, the torque constant is 0.86 Nm/A and the winding resistance is 1.2 Ohms. The inductance of the motor windings is 6.8 millihenry. Integrated features that are available on the MDD090C-N-020-N2M-110GA1 include an encoder for feedback and a blocking brake.

The integrated blocking brake is rated for 6.5 Nm. Bosch also provides 11 Nm blocking brakes for MDD090 motors. The motor encoder is a multiturn absolute encoder. The centering diameter of the servo motor is 110 millimeters. Bosch has designed the motor for flange mounting and has provided four mounting holes on the motor flange.
