The MDD090C-N-020-N2L-110PA0 is a permanent magnet-excited synchronous servo motor designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Like other motors in the MDD series, it has a high overload capability because heat is efficiently transferred from its stator windings to the walls of its housing. It also has a temperature monitoring system with thermal sensors in its windings to protect it from damaging overload conditions. The motor is designed for cooling by natural convection and surface cooling. It also supports maintenance-free operation with its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. These bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours and are designed for high radial loads.
