The MDD090A-N-040-N2L-130PA2 is a three-phase servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for digital drive controllers, it converts drive current into rotational motion for precise axis positioning in industrial automation cells and machine tools. Its electromechanical design combines a permanent-magnet rotor with internal sensors so closed-loop drives can position loads accurately during rapidly changing process demands. This arrangement supports repeatable motion on feed axes, indexing systems, and other equipment that requires stable servo response.

At a nominal speed of 4000 rpm, the motor reaches synchronous velocity when operated by a matched drive, allowing high throughput while staying within thermal limits. During standstill, it can deliver a continuous torque of 3.7 Nm, which supports holding force on vertical or tension-loaded axes without overheating. The single-ended shaft uses a keyway for positive torque transmission and includes a factory-installed shaft seal to help keep lubricants in and contaminants out.
