The MDD090A-N-040-N2L-110PL2 is a permanent-magnet synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for digital drive controllers, it converts regulated current from the drive into controlled mechanical motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place axes, and packaging machines. Its construction follows a modular format, so it shares mechanical geometry with other MDD units and supports consistent integration in multi-axis industrial automation.

At standstill, the motor can deliver 3.7 Nm of continuous torque, which is the steady load it may hold without overheating while the shaft is locked. It reaches a nominal speed of 4000 rpm, allowing rapid positioning when paired with suitable gearing. The integrated blocking brake supplies 11.0 Nm of holding torque, so vertical axes can remain fixed after power is disabled.
