Bosch Rexroth is an innovative automation brand and the designer of the MDD servo motors. The synchronous servo motors assure high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, in particular when used for cutting in high speed ranges.

The MDD090A-N-030-N2M-110PA0 is an MDD model built to support high-precision applications where extreme synchronism is required, such as grinding machines. It enables energy-efficient operations with several features, including its integrated temperature monitoring system consisting of a thermal sensor in its stator. This sensor prevents irreversible damage due to overheating and optimizes energy. The motor is cooled by natural convection, a heat transfer mechanism that works with temperature and density differences. It is a cost-effective method for heat dissipation which also ensures energy efficiency. Like other MDD motors, the housing of this model is coated with a black prime varnish that protects it from weathering, yellowing, chalky build-up, dilute acids, and lyes.

Due to the compact build of the MDD090A-N-030-N2M-110PA0, it has a high power density, meaning it can deliver high power levels and torque. It is also easier to handle and install. Its bearings allow high radial loads to be applied and the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft.
