The MDD090A-N-020-N2L-110PB0 is a digital AC servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It is used in conjunction with intelligent digital drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. It is a permanent magnet-excited synchronous motor with electronic commutation. The electronic commutation gives it a high cyclic load capacity, permitting its use in continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
With the MDD090A-N-020-N2L-110PB0, high contouring accuracies at high feed rates are guaranteed, especially when used for cutting in high-speed ranges. It is particularly suited for high-precision operations where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, like grinding machines. This motor has two important electrical connections - one for the power connection and the encoder connection. The integrated encoder system in this MDD motor is digital servo feedback, which allows the relative indirect evaluation of the motor's position.
