Applications of the motors include textile machines, food processing and packaging machines, handling equipment and robotics.
The MDD071A-N-060-N2T-095GB0 is a model of the Bosch Rexroth MDD synchronous servo motors. It features a thermal sensor in its stator that prevents damage due to thermal overload by monitoring its temperature. Heat is also efficiently eliminated from these stator windings; hence, the motor has a high overload capability. It can achieve a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and generate a theoretical maximum torque of 6.8Nm. The servo motor’s housing is sealed with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per DIN 40 050. This allows its risk-free operation under adverse environmental conditions since it does not admit solid extrinsic materials or multidirectional water jet sprays. Its centering diameter is 95mm.
Equipped with lifetime-lubricated bearings whose nominal service life is 30,000 operating hours, the MDD071A-N-060-N2T-095GB0 supports maintenance-free operation. It is also fitted with a plain output shaft that guarantees a non-positive shaft hub with zero backlash. Like other motors in the series, its shaft has a sealing ring that protects the motor by preventing the entry of fluids. Because of its high power density, this MDD synchronous servomotor is best suited for highly dynamic applications like tool changing devices and roller feeds for punching, pressing and nibbling machines. It is also suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates since it has electronic commutation. This feature gives the motor a high cyclic load capacity.
