Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are advanced and dynamic motors used for several industrial applications. They are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation, whose magnets are obtained from rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. They are designed to be used with intelligent IndraDrive controllers by Bosch Rexroth to offer cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality. Their areas of application include printing and packaging machines, textile machines, tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095GB1 is an MDD motor with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder, permitting the absolute indirect detection of the motor’s position. This model is specifically characterized by a high power density that makes it suitable for dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines, and tool-changing devices. It has a nominal speed of 3000 rpm and a centering diameter of 95mm. The motor has a 3.0Nm blocking brake for a backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is disconnected from power.
