The Bosch MDD065C-N-040-N2L-095GL0 is a servo motor. Together with digital drive controllers from Bosch, MDD servo motors create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. Drives with MDD motors are especially well-suited for use in tools, textiles, printing and packaging machines, as well as robotics, handling equipment and transfer facilities. Because of their very high power density, MDD065C motors are especially well suited to highly-dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines as well as tool changing devices. MDD motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets of the motor rotor are made with rare-earth or iron oxide. The use of these magnetic materials enables construction of low-inertia motors. MDD motors are characterized by high performance data, high dynamics due to favorable torque-inertia ratio, and high overload capabilities due to efficient heat conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing.
The MDD065C-N-040-N2L-095GL0 is a motor with a standard housing. In addition to natural convection, it can also be used with surface cooling.
