The Bosch Rexroth MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095PA1 is a synchronous servo motor. It is part of the MDD product line. Drive systems with MDD motors are well suited to applications involving textile, robotics, handling equipment and printing machines. Because of high power density MDD065 series motors are well suited to applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines. MDD motors are made with permanent magnets and support electronic commutation. They offer high operating reliability due to a maintenance free design and a temperature sensor integrated into the motor windings that helps to prevent damage due to overload. MDD motors are available with or without a blocking brake. The MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095PA1 features an electrically released blocking rated for 3 Nm. The brake operates at 24 Volts DC and draws 0.6 Amps current.
