MDD065A-N-040-N5L-095GB0 is a MDD series AC servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. MDD motors have a brushless design. This feature, in combination with the IP65 rated housing, makes MDD motors maintenance-free. The motors are made with premium permanent magnets. As a result they feature low rotor inertia for fast acceleration and deceleration. Main MDD motor components include the rotor shaft, motor windings, laminated core with magnets, feedback sensor, and an optional blocking brake. MDD motors can be used near the machines even when the environmental conditions are poor due to effects of soluble oil or coolants. This is possible because the motor housing is fully sealed and the power and feedback connections are IP65 compliant.
The motor winding temperature is monitored by integrated temperature sensor. This helps to protect the motors from overload damage. MDD065A-N-040-N5L-095GB0 is a motor with a standard housing.
