These motors have electronic commutation, a feature that gives them high cyclic load capacity.

The MDD065A-N-040-N2M-095PB0 is a permanent magnet-excited servo motor in the MDD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It supports maintenance-free operation thanks to its brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. Its housing is completely sealed and has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating according to EN 60529. Hence, it can be safely used in poor environmental conditions. This is supported by the construction of its motor power cable and feedback cable per the IP 65 standard. The motor’s output shaft is one with a keyway per DIN 6995-1 and a shaft sealing ring. This shaft permits a form-fitting shaft-hub connection and torque transmission, while its sealing ring protects the motor from fluid penetration.
