The MDD065A-N-040-N2M-095PA0 is a servo motor model in the MDD series designed for high-dynamics applications which require a high-power density. It is a compact, maintenance-free motor with a nominal speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute and a torque constant of 0.44 Nm/A at 20oC. This motor has a high overload capability thanks to the efficient conduction of heat from its stator windings to the walls of its housing. It is also equipped with a temperature sensor that prevents damage due to thermal overload. Its housing design allows it to be suitable for cooling by natural convection and surface cooling.

The motor feedback system of the MDD065A-N-040-N2M-095PA0 is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. This encoder version is used for the detection of the absolute indirect position on the motor and stores it in the intelligent digital drive connected to it. The motor has a centering diameter of 95mm and uses a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and keyway, according to DIN 6885. The shaft sealing prevents the penetration of liquids into the motor’s housing along the shaft. The MDD065A-N-040-N2M-095PA0 is also dynamically balanced according to balance class N, as specified in DIN VDE 0530.
