The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040MB1 is a synchronous servo unit built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it supplies compact, high-speed rotary motion to positioning axes and spindles that require rapid acceleration and precise repeatability in automated equipment.

At standstill the rotor produces a continuous torque of 0.60 Nm, while the magnetic design supports a nominal shaft speed of 10000 min⁻¹ for fast cycle times. A blocking brake rated at 1.0 Nm locks the axis when power is removed, preventing back-driving on vertical loads. Mechanical centering is accomplished with a 40 mm pilot diameter, and standard balancing limits residual vibration during high-speed rotation.
