The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040MA1 is a compact synchronous servo motor in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers and converts controlled inverter current into fast rotary motion for pick-and-place axes, miniature conveyors, and indexing stations. The small frame supports installation in machines where space is limited and short cable routing is preferred. That compact layout also suits equipment that depends on quick starts, short moves, and accurate repeatability without using a larger motor body.

In continuous operation, the rotor can deliver 0.60 Nm at standstill, which lets the drive support light loads without external gearing. During motion, it reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, helping low-inertia axes complete short move profiles quickly. Accurate mechanical registration is supported by a 40 mm centering diameter that aligns the front flange with adjacent machine parts. Power and feedback conductors exit on Side A, which can keep the cable path clear of nearby moving parts and simplify routing in compact assemblies. Position data is supplied through Resolver feedback, and the motor uses a keyed shaft with a circular connector to provide a single pluggable connection for power, brake, and feedback lines.

Dynamic holding is provided by a blocking brake rated at 1.0 Nm, which helps the shaft remain fixed when the inverter is de-energized. The B length code with frame size 025 gives the motor a short housing that still leaves room for the brake assembly.
