The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040FC1 is a compact synchronous motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Intended for operation with digital drive controllers, it converts commanded current into high-speed rotation that actuates miniature gantries, tool turrets, and pick-and-place heads on automated lines where limited space and fast transient response are critical.

At standstill the motor delivers a continuous torque of 0.33 Nm, permitting stable load support without thermal overload. Its rated speed reaches 10000 min⁻¹, providing short cycle times when paired with fine-pitch transmission elements. A blocking brake is integrated and clamps the rotor with 1.0 Nm of torque whenever the drive is de-energized, preventing vertical axis drift.
