As an ironless reaction plate, it partners with a corresponding primary coil to generate linear thrust in pick-and-place modules, gantries, and similar automation axes. Its compact geometry and open design allow it to be positioned inside a machine envelope where enclosure protection is provided by the host structure.

The unit follows the series reference with a Frame Size 020 designation, which indicates the magnetic track width and matches it to primary movers of the same code. Physical dimensions are fixed.
