Product Description:

MCP020B-V180-NI-L0CN-NNNN is one of the efficient motors of the innovative MCP linear motor series of the Bosch Rexroth company. This motor provides an ideal solution for applications that need linear motion. Whereas normal rotary motors utilize gears to produce straight movement, linear motors can directly generate movement along a line, thus reducing complications and increasing effectiveness.

Another characteristic of the MCP series is that this is a coreless motor, while most linear motors have ferromagnetic cores that lead to the cogging effect and hysteresis loss. Coreless motors, such as MCP020B-V180-NI-L0CN-NNNN are compact and lighter; this also goes well with applications that require sturdy mechanical design. The MCP020B-V180-NI-L0CN-NNNN is comprised of helical coils that operate with the secondary part of coreless motors. When in use, the primary component creates a linear field movement that allows for the accuracy of the movement of the secondary part along a predetermined axis. For increased productivity, this motor is additionally equipped with a Hall sensor that provides motionless commutation for the smooth functioning of the coreless linear motor.

The MCP020B-V180-NI-L0CN-NNNN has the winding with a supply voltage of 180 V and has a default DC voltage of 300 V and a maximum voltage excitation of 420 V. It consumes 1.2 A current and provides up to 156 N of the driving force. The motor gets to the maximum velocity of 550 m/min and accepts total currents of 4.9 A. At the temperature of 20 degrees C the winding resistance and inductance of the used coil are 28 ohms and 2.9 mH respectively. Due to this advanced design, it is a very reliable and efficient product that gives high precision and is ideal for applications that need compact and high-performance linear motion control systems.
