Rexroth Indramat Bosch Group is a trustworthy name in the field of motion and logic control. The company has got decades of experience of producing diversified systems, drives, controllers, I/O devices and motors. With MAD and MAF motor series the company offers improved and more sophisticated models. These asynchronous motors have been specifically designed to perform heavy-duty tasks under extreme and explosion-prone environment. The MAF version is different than MAD as it features liquid-cooled motors with coolant connections by using either connection threads or quick couplers. However, additional installations (hoses and clamps) must be ordered separately.

The MAF130B-0200-FQ-M0-AH0-05-R1 is an asynchronous motor by Rexroth Indramat that features frame size of 130B. The MAF ATEX motor model features G1/4 inch thread and 9mm slot for quick coupler to connect the desired cooling mode. The liquid cooling offers power loss dissipation up to 2.00 kW and the temperature of the coolant supply remains between 10 and 40 degree Celsius. The maximum allowed input pressure is 6 bar while the duct volume is 0.15 liters.

As far as the performance goes, the MAF130B-0200-FQ-M0-AH0-05-R1 motor is quite powerful. It has a power rating of 20.90 kW and can reach up to 42.85 kW. The torque rating of the ATEX motor is 100 Nm but it can reach up to 220 Nm. Given that the motor features bearing A and H, its maximum speed can go up to 10,000 RPM. The high-torque motor by Rexroth Indramat is relatively lighter at 82 kg considering there are heavier options available in the product line. At the same time its low rotor inertia of just 0.079 kg.m2 makes it ideal for super-fast acceleration and deceleration without applying the holding brakes.
