The MAF225C-0150-FQ-S2-HH0-35-V1 is a synchronous (induction) motor manufactured by Indramat Rexroth under the MAF series. The rated speed, key speed, and maximum speed with reinforced bearings are 1500 rpm, 1000 rpm, and 3750 rpm. The housing is protected with a black primal paint coating, and this variant has reinforced bearings that can absorb higher radial forces. The setbacks of using the reinforced bearings include a reduction of grease service life and a reduction of the maximum permitted speed in some variants.
Under the presence of dust, oil, or pressure, the motor has in-build protection of IP 65 that will help prevent any damage to the product. MAF series are different from the MAD series as they are running with an external cooling system. The cooling system has been installed in such a manner that it can satisfy all the requirements of flow, pressure, and gradient. The MAF225C-0150-FQ-S2-HH0-35-V1 comes without any blocking brakes, and the moment of inertia of the rotor is 1.65 kgm2.
