It is engineered for constant-torque drive duties in machine tools and test rigs where heat is extracted directly from the stator jacket instead of being carried away by external airflow. The asynchronous design is appropriate for heavy rotating loads that need steady torque over long duty cycles. This housing-cooled arrangement suits installations where surrounding air movement is limited or where airborne contamination makes fan-based cooling less desirable. Its plain shaft allows direct coupling to gear reducers or process equipment, and the shaft does not use a sealing ring.

This motor reaches a rated speed of 500 rpm, so gear ratios can remain low while delivering high continuous torque. Heat is removed through liquid cooling; a closed coolant loop threads into the stator through a 1/2 inch connection, keeping winding temperature below the Class F limit. Because cooling is carried through the jacket, the motor can dissipate losses without adding a separate blower assembly.
