MAF180D-0200-FQ-S2-DH0-35-N1 is a Bosch Rexroth MAF series motor. MAF motors are liquid cooled and use a circulating coolant for heat dissipation. Liquid cooling enables higher output torque and makes MAF motors suitable for high-load applications. Rated torque output of the servo motor is 400 Nm. The highest torque the motor can deliver is 1008 Nm. Output current rating of the servo motor is 168.5 Amps. The highest current the motor can deliver is 377 Amps. Power output rating of the motor is 83.8 kilowatts. The higher power output the servo motor can deliver is 171.79 kilowatts. The optimal ambient temperature for MAF motors is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Recommended temperature range for the coolant supply is 10 to 40 degrees Celsius. During operation, the coolant dissipates 5.4 kilowatts as heat.

Optimal cooling requires 7.7 liters/minute coolant flow rate. The volume of the duct for the coolant on the MAF180D-0200-FQ-S2-DH0-35-N1 motor is 1.45 liters. As a servo motor, the MAF180D-0200-FQ-S2-DH0-35-N1 comes with a factory-installed single turn encoder. This is a sensor that measure motor speed and torque, and transmits measurements via a feedback cable to the motor controller. Direct connection of MAF motors to AC mains is not permitted.
