The MAF180D-0200-FQ-M2-GF0-35-A1 asynchronous motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. As an asynchronous housing motor with an internal cooling circuit, it provides induction torque for automated conveyor sections, presses, and machining centers that must maintain stable speed while feedback from an integrated encoder closes the position loop. Flange and foot mounting simplify installation on frames conforming to DIN EN 60034-14, letting the unit serve as a compact drive element inside protected control cabinets or directly on the machine bed.

Running at a rated speed of 2000 rpm, the motor’s rotor is matched to winding code 0200 to balance torque and thermal dissipation. The stator jacket is equipped for liquid cooling, which enters through a 1/2-inch connection thread and exits through a second port to maintain uniform temperature under continuous loading; this arrangement improves power density over air-cooled units of the same frame. A sealed IP65 aluminum frame with frame size 180 and length code D shields the windings, which use insulation class F, from dust and water spray. Motion feedback is delivered by a multi-turn absolute encoder that generates 2048 increments and is powered from 7–12 V, eliminating the need for external scaling electronics. Power leads enter from the left through a rotatable terminal box so cabinet wiring can be positioned at the preferred angle.

The feedback link uses the EnDat 2.1 protocol, enabling bidirectional parameter exchange and automatic position tracking after power cycles.
